CLP PartsSync Privacy Policy

CLP PartsSync ("the app") is a Shopify application operated by clp software studio srl that synchronizes product catalogues, prices, and inventory from motorcycle-parts suppliers into a merchant's Shopify store.
Information we collect
- Store information: the store domain, access token, and shop currency Shopify provides when the app is installed.
- Supplier credentials: API credentials the merchant enters for their own supplier accounts. These are stored encrypted at rest and are used to call the supplier's API on the merchant's behalf. One exception: Parts Canada publishes its product images as whole catalogue archives, so the app downloads each archive once for all merchants using a single connected Parts Canada account and serves the images to every store from that shared cache. A merchant's credentials are therefore never used to read another merchant's prices, stock or orders, but they may be the account that fetches a shared image archive.
- Product and synchronization data: supplier catalogue items, prices, stock levels, and the synchronization history needed to operate the app.
Information we do not collect
The app does not request, read, or store customer personal data, orders, or payment information. The app's Shopify access scopes cover products, inventory, locations, and publications only.
How information is used
Data is used solely to provide the synchronization service: importing products, updating prices and stock, hosting product images, and showing the merchant their synchronization activity. Data is never sold or shared with third parties, other than the merchant's own suppliers and Shopify as required to operate the service.
Data retention and deletion
Store data is deleted when the app is uninstalled, in line with Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks (shop redaction). Merchants may also request deletion at any time using the contact address below.
